South Tyneside College offers one of the widest ranges of courses in the region and has celebrated high pass rates across many subjects. Its Open Events have continually proved to be successful year after year, as potential students are able gain an insight as to what the College has to offer.

Maxine Downey, Marketing Officer at South Tyneside College, said: “This is an ideal opportunity for anyone thinking about a career change or what to do after they leave school. We are putting on a range of activities for visitors to the event including a portable ship simulator, letting you try your hand at piloting a ship, there will also be interactive displays from other departments across the college allowing you to try out your skills.
