Apprenticeships
Want to get the best of both worlds - get paid while you learn new skills? Do you have the dedication to succeed and not afraid to commit yourself?
An apprenticeship is ideal if you’d like to combine study with a wage. You’ll learn on-the-job for four days a week and come to College for one day a week. All our apprentices are employed locally and receive a weekly wage from their employer.
As you’d expect, the focus is on practical training. Your time at College will teach you the skills you’ll need to do your job effectively. You’ll then be able to practice and perfect your skills in the workplace. We’ll also teach you the underpinning knowledge you’ll need to develop and progress in your career.
At the end of the apprenticeship programme you’ll have a valuable, well respected qualification. Many apprentices are then taken on full-time by their apprenticeship employer.
Our Apprenticeship offer currently includes:
- Barbering
- Business and Administration
- Beauty Therapy
- Elderly Care
- Electrical Engineering
- Hairdressing
- Hospitality
- IT Professional
We are in the process of developing the apprenticeships we offer. Please contact us if you would like further information.
