iTunes U @ South Tyneside College

South Tyneside College has become the first further education institution in the northeast and the only Marine College in England to have a presence on Apple’s music purchasing environment, iTunes U.

What is iTunes U?

iTunes U works in the same way as iTunes, except instead of offering you the chance to download your purchased music to your iPod (or personal computer), you can download or view educational resources such as tutorials & guides produced by staff at the College. For those of you who have an iPod, you will be familiar with iTunes but if you are unsure, please contact the ICT and E-Learning Department for more information on iTunes.

iTunes U is popular with a large number of universities in America, where it has been used by institutions such as MIT, Princeton and Harvard, but popularity has grown in the UK with both Oxford, Cambridge and the Open University all getting involved.
