Accommodation

Conveniently situated within the College Campus, our Halls of Residence combines catered accommodation with easy access.

Comprising of 204 single study bedrooms, accommodation is predominantly for those under 18 years of age and for Phase 1 cadets.  Subject to room availability, we are also pleased to welcome Senior Marine students and those attending short courses at the College.

A member of staff is available 24 hours a day to assist students and provide support where required.

All rooms are centrally heated and equipped with wash hand basins. Showers and toilets are located on each floor.

General facilities include common rooms (with TV, microwave and kettle), a communal  television lounge, after hours study rooms (with whiteboard, large desks and computers), a computer suite (with 24 hour access), and an onsite licensed Student Union Club (1861 Club) – offering satellite TV, Pool tables etc. Residents are also able to access the College gym (Lifestyle Centre) at a reduced rate.

Duvets, pillows and all bed linen is provided, however students are required to provide their own towels and toiletries.

Wireless network with internet access is available for those with PC’s or laptops.

Our laundry room is equipped with coin operated washing and drying facilities.

Free onsite secure parking is available.

Fees include the cost of the accommodation, breakfast and dinner (brunch and dinner on weekends) and a weekly cleaning service.

Meals are taken in the College Refectory 'Eat' with a wide range of tastes being catered for. Halal and Vegetarian meals are always available.
