Nationally recognised qualifications

Our leisure courses all fit into the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) voluntary scheme of training and certification. They will equip you with the essential skills and knowledge you need to cruise safely under sail or power.

The qualifications structure includes shore-based theory courses, practical courses, qualifying experience and a final examination.

We are a RYA regional examination centre, arranging and conducting examinations as required.
