City and Guilds 17th Edition Electrical Installation (Full Course)

Course summary:

This course is designed for practising Electricians and Electrical Contractors to ensure that they are conversant with the Application of the BS 7671: 2008, content and format. This course is for Electricians who have not gained the previous City and Guilds 2381 Wiring Regulations Certificate prior to 2001.

Candidates that have achieved the City & Guilds Certificate in the Requirement for Electrical Installation (BS 7671; June 2001), the 2381, can undertake our update qualification - the 2382-20.

Course content:

Knowledge of the Wiring Regulations is required for all persons who seek to work in designing, constructing, renovating and maintaining the electrical systems in homes, shops, offices and factories.

Employers of electricians are legally obliged to employ only competent persons to work as electricians - an up to date IEE Wiring Regulations qualification is one way of showing you are competent.

Assessment procedure:

On completing the course the student will sit the City & Guilds 2382 on-line multiple choice examination.

Entry requirements:

Entry is at the discretion of the College: the course is suitable for electricians, trainee electricians and others who need a working knowledge of the regulations.

Qualifications achieved:

Certificate in the Requirements of Electrical Installations (BS 7671 2008)
