English for Adults
Course summary:
This part time course for adults will help learners to improve their English in areas such as reading, spelling, grammar and punctuation.
Learners study at a level and pace that is right for them.
Course structure:
The course is approximately 2-4 hours per week. Classes are available daytime and evening.
Entry requirements:
None required. Learners will be interviewed by college staff before entry.
Qualifications achieved:
Learners will be given the opportunity to take National Tests at a variety of levels appropriate to the learner.
The qualification is nationally recognised and the highest level is equivalent to a GCSE grade.
Progression opportunities:
Learners can progress onto the next level or may apply for other college mainstream courses depending on the level.
