BTEC Level 2 Extended Certificate in Construction

Course content:

This is a specialist work-related programme for those interested in working in construction and will provide you with a practical understanding of fundamental aspects of the industry. Specialist Units are offered in:

• Trowel Operations
• Painting and Decorating
• Carpentry and Joinery

The programme will also encourage you to develop the personal skills and qualities you need for work and learning.

Entry requirements:

Four or more GCSE grades at D-G

Progression opportunities:

On successful completion you could progress to a related Level 3 qualification or Apprenticeship.
