BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business

Course summary:

If you are interested in starting a career in business or if you are thinking of a business career but want to obtain a nationally recognised qualification before starting work this course is for you. It’s also ideal if you intend to progress to Higher Education.

You will begin to specialise in areas such as marketing, financial analysis, website design, administration and human resource management. By the end of your course you will have a good knowledge of the wider world of business and a set of skills that will prepare you for the next stage in your business or academic pursuits. Throughout the course you will develop group work, presentation and IT skills.

Entry requirements:

BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Business.

Progression opportunities:

On successful completion you couldprogress to degree level study or our HND in Business and Management. The course prepares you for employment in accountancy, banking, human resources, marketing and sales. You may also consider starting your own business.
