Enterprise
Are you interested in enterprise? Perhaps you’re a budding entrepreneur or see yourself as a first rate employee of the future!
Whatever entrepreneurial ambitions you might have, we aim to help you get to where you want to be. Our enterprise education is simple – we believe that people need to develop three key things:
- Enterprise capability
- Economic and business understanding
- Financial understanding
What does this mean in practice?
Enterprise capability means that you will be encouraged to handle uncertainty and respond positively to change. You will learn to take responsibility, create new ways of doing things, implement your own ideas and consider new ways of doing things. You will learn to make reasonable risk/reward assessments, both in personal and working life.
You will also have access to start-up business advice from a range of sources and have regular access to the local business community.
The college pledges to give access to Social Enterprise and micro business opportunities and - via our enhanced tutorial system - we will offer you widespread access to enterprise, business and financial understanding.
