This course will be completed via distance learning; initial contact will be made to the college and a learning pack supplied to complete. Contact will be made with your assessor via e-mail or telephone. On enrolling you will be given a completion date for final submission of the work towards your qualification.
Experience of the health and social care sector is desirable however. This course is also ideal for anyone interested in the field of Health and Social care or where the content supports a CPD opportunity. There are no formal entry requirements but candidates should be prepared to write assignments and commit to study away from college.
A portfolio of evidence will be produced to meet the learning outcomes expected in the qualification. These will be returned to college via e-mail by the candidate and feedback will be returned in the same way.
This qualification is to guide and assess development of knowledge and skills relating to the children and young people's workforce and will provide progression to social care and learning development and support services workforces.
