Want to get the best of both worlds – get paid while you learn new skills? Do you have the dedication to succeed and not afraid to commit yourself? Find your Apprenticeship at South Tyneside College.
An Apprenticeship is ideal if you’d like to combine study with a wage. You’ll learn on the-job for four days a week and come to college for one day a week. All our apprentices are employed locally and receive a weekly wage from their employer. As you’d expect, the focus is on practical training.
Your time at college will teach you the skills you’ll need to do your job effectively. You’ll then be able to practice and perfect your skills in the workplace. We’ll also teach you the underpinning knowledge you’ll need to develop and progress in your career. At the end of the apprenticeship programme, you’ll have a valuable, well respected qualification.
Many of our apprentices are taken on full-time by their apprenticeship employer once their programme is over.
