NOCN Skills for Employment, Training and Personal Development aged 19+

OVERVIEW

NOCN Entry Level Certificate

The NOCN Entry Level Certificate in Skills for Employment, Training and Personal Development (Entry 3) is designed to provide an introduction to working.

This course is for current or past ESOL students who want to finetune their career skills as well as practising putting their English language skills into use.

Modules/Topics Covered: 

  • Using the Internet
  • Using Email
  • Customer Service Skills
  • Working as a Volunteer
  • Skills for Independent Living

Entry 2 or Entry 3 ESOL exams.

This course will be assessed through coursework.

Progression to work or further study.

This course will run on a Thursday day time (one day per week in college). 

For the majority of our students there is no cost to the programmes. However, this does depend on circumstances. Please contact our Student Services team for more information – info@stc.ac.uk

 

Work experience will be part of the course and will take place in the college’s pre-loved shop on campus, set to open in January 2025.
