The Higher Education team are busy making preparations and plans for the start of your programme in September 2020. Covid-19 has been an unprecedented and challenging time for everyone, but we are developing an effective approach to your programme of study, blending face to face and online teaching where appropriate.

We will continue to take government advice and work within their guidelines regarding delivery of education, including social distancing, and groups of learners in ‘bubbles’.

The majority of your programme is planned to be taught face to face in a safe classroom / workshop environment at the college.

Some sessions will be delivered online using conference technology such as Microsoft Teams. This form of remote learning will also include mentored support using the ‘chat’ facility in addition to the sharing of learning materials and scheduled sessions.

This method opens new learning opportunities, enabling our learners to develop additional skills relating to team working, and time management, and is a good platform for sharing skills, knowledge and experience within your peer group.

Your lecturers will support you throughout your programme, including getting you up and running with remote digital learning.

In the coming months before commencing your studies please contact the Programme Leader if you need any further guidance before joining us:
