Course summary:
The OPITO approved Further Offshore Emergency Training programme is a 1 day course which must be undertaken by individuals who have a valid BOSIET or TBOSIET, or FOET or TFOET certificate. The FOET certificate revalidates a delegate's offshore emergency training for a further four years.

Entry Requirements top
BOSIET/FOET certificate not older than four years less 1 day on the day the course starts. If certificate is less than 3 years and 9 months old you will only get 4 years from the date you take the course. From 3 years and 9 months to 4 years less 1 day you will carry forward the time you attended early.
Delegates MUST hold a valid (in date) BOSIET / FOET certificate, or possess an OIM signed OIL & GAS UK dispensation letter.
Delegates should be aware that the course contains physically demanding and potentially stressful elements. Delegates will be required to complete a medical screening form on day one of the course.

WHAT TO BRING
You need to produce the following original documents at registration:
- Valid Passport for proof of identity
- Valid in date OG/UK Medical certificate
- Valid in date “fitness to train” certificate. (issued on request from an approved OG/UK doctor
British citizens who do not hold a valid passport may provide a UK photo driving licence or UK Government issued photo identity document.
Delegates may also carrying out the training if they have a current ENG1 Medical certificate providing the certificate has no restrictions on it.
Should a delegates ENG1 certificate have restrictions on it, then the delegate will require a statement from an appropriate registered practitioner that the restriction or condition does not result from a respiratory or ENT condition and there is no absolute contraindication to the delegate’s participation in shallow water CA-EBS training.

TRAINING GEAR
The College provides all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Please bring the following:
- Towel and toiletries
- Clothing (tee shirt and shorts / tracksuit bottoms) suitable to wear under immersion suit and fire suit
- Waterproof bag to carry wet clothing after the course
Please note that any OPITO training does not provide direct employment opportunities within the Offshore Oil and Gas sector. The training provided on this course is to supplement your existing skills and experience and hence enable you to meet the safety requirements offshore. You are advised to review the range of employment opportunities available for a match with your current skill set.

Certain practical aspects of this course are physically demanding and all delegates are required to sign a medical declaration and undergo medical screening prior to acceptance.
