This course fits into the AAT framework as follows: AAT Level 4 Diploma in Accounting Mandatory units Financial Statements (FSTM) Financial Performance (FPFM) Budgeting (BDGT) Internal controls and accounting systems (ISYS) Optional units (2 from) Cash management (CSHM) Credit control (CRDC) Business Tax (BTAX) Personal Tax (PTAX) External Auditing (EXTA).
Please note you may only pay exam fees online if you are a student of South Tyneside College and have approval from your lecturer. We do not accept external candidates.
You need to have successfully completed AAT Level 3.
Students must complete six units to achieve the qualification.
Successful completion can enable students to progress to the 2nd year of a Foundation Degree at University to study accounting or other professional accounting qualifications.
Apply for an AAT Bursary
You can apply for an AAT Bursary up to £5,000 per student if you are looking to study an AAT qualification. The bursary fees will cover the AAT Level(s) mentioned above and students are not expected to pay any of the bursary money back.
To be eligible to apply for a bursary, you must be:
- 16 years old or over
- a UK resident and wish to study here
- able to demonstrate that you're in genuine financial need
