Overview top
This course studies the three main disciplines of Performing Arts, Dance, Drama and Singing. In addition, the course equips learners with the skills and knowledge to begin to understand the industry and what’s required to work successfully.
Learning takes place at STC and The Customs House.
Our links with the Customs House gives learners a chance to experience a professional working environment and gain an understanding of all elements of a working theatre.
This course is practically driven and learners are expected to take part in all disciplines as well as specialising in an area of choice.
Entry Requirements top
5 GCSEs A-C or a Level 2 in Performing Arts.
Some previous experience and a passion for Performing Arts
Assessment top
Units are assessed throughout the course, both internally and externally moderated.
Professional Opportunities top
Learners can progress onto the Level 3 Extended Diploma.
