Library

Equipping students with 82 workstations, 16 netbooks, 37 laptops, as well as IT drop-ins and printing facilities, our LRC lets you access learning materials including books, newspapers, periodicals, videos, electronic books, e-resources (online databases) and a collection of music and film media for leisure time.

Mon-Thu: 8.30am-8pm
Fri: 8.30am-4.30pm
Sat: 10am-2pm
(Opening hours vary during holiday periods.)

Higher Education

We have a dedicated common room for Higher Education students.

It’s a place for our students to chill out between lessons or get stuck into their studies with plenty of space to set up you laptop or work with others.

Commercial salons (barbershop, hair, beauty)

Our students train in industry-standard commercial salons, with real customers. From cuts to colours, manicures to facials, you’ll develop real working skills.

INDUSTRY-STANDARD ENGINEERING WORKSHOPS

You’ll develop knowledge and skills using industry-standard equipment, such as CNC machines, welding booths and electrical testing bays.

INDUSTRY-STANDARD MOTOR VEHICLE WORKSHOPS

Our workshops are equipped to high spec industry standards including our latest investment in electric and hybrid vehicle rigs. Whether you are interested in a career in accident paint and body repair, or mechanical service and repair, we offer first-class facilities to prepare you for the industry.

SCIENCE LABORATORIES

Our state-of-the art science labs allow our future scientists to explore areas from forensic analysis to genetics using cutting-edge facilities. Students have access to advanced equipment, enabling them to carry out experiments, understand core concepts and develop their practical skills.

CAR PARKING

We have plenty of designated on-campus parking available, where you can park your car in any parking bay, unless otherwise stated. Please note, it is forbidden for anyone to park on the services road. There is also a free car park (not operated by the College) situated off Dean Road, between Wawn Street and John Clay Street, only a five-minute walk from the College. Please ask at main reception if you need any help.

Please note: It is your responsibility to ensure your vehicle is parked safely. No liability is given to the College for the theft of, loss from, or damage to any vehicle parked on our premises. We strongly advise not to leave personal property in unattended vehicles.
