*PLEASE NOTE: The final enrolment date for Maths Distance Learning is 2nd January, 2026.
Enrolling by this date is essential to ensure you have enough study time to succeed on the course.
We keep it simple so you can get started straight away.
Age: You must be 19+ years old (you must be 19 at the start of the academic year) i.e. 31st August).
Upper Limit: Absolutely none! Whether you are 19 or 90, you are welcome here.
Qualifications: No previous maths qualifications are required to apply. Your assessment result will show suitability on the right level.
Commitment: As this is a distance learning course, strong self-discipline is essential to manage your independent study time effectively.
We want to ensure you are on the right path from day one.
Initial Skills Check: Before the course begins, you will complete a small, low-stress assessment at the college. This isn’t a pass/fail test—it simply highlights your current ability and identifies specific skills gaps so we can tailor your remote learning plan to your exact needs.
The Final Exam: All your hard work leads to two short, manageable papers: one Non-Calculator and one Calculator. We support you every step of the way to ensure you are exam-ready.
A maths qualification is more than just a piece of paper; it is a key to unlocking your future.
Career Advancement: Essential for securing employment or aiming for that next promotion.
Further Study: Often a requirement for college courses and university entry.
Personal Growth: Gain the confidence to manage household budgets or simply help your children with their homework without the frustration!
Learning Method: You will work from home at your own pace, accessing learning materials via our dedicated online platforms.
Mandatory Session: You must attend one online session per week with your maths teacher. This mandatory check-in is crucial for keeping you on track, answering questions, and providing personalised support.
Deadline: Time is running out! If you are keen to get on board, you must enrol before 2nd January, 2026.
