Maths GCSE is awarded by WJEC Eduqas and will be delivered with a range of resources and with plenty of opportunities to sit formative assessments and practice papers in preparation for the Summer exams.

You will have tailored programme that will be tracked to show your progress. This is 100% examination based and sat across 2 separate papers.

Our GCSE programmes are for those learners who have achieved a Level 1 previously or have a Grade 3/D. We will also consider adults without these achievements if you attain a good score within your Initial Assessments upon enrolment.

This course is only available for 19+ learners ONLY (you must be 19 at the start of the academic year) i.e. 31st August.

As this course is for 19+ learners, please note that 16-18’s must be studying a full-time programme in order to access maths and English.

You will be informally assessed at enrolment to determine your suitability for the course.

Our GCSE Maths qualification is through WJEC where you will be required to sit two exams next May/June. You will be expected to complete 2 exam papers (Non-calculator Mathematics) & (Calculator allowed Mathematics).

During your time with us you will complete regular assessments and from these results you will work on your targets.

The subject content has been grouped into the following topic areas:

  • Number
  • Algebra

  • Geometry and measures
