Certificate in Gel Polish Nails

OVERVIEW

This course is aimed at those looking to develop their beauty therapy skills to offer a gel nail treatment to their existing clientele. It may also be of interest to those in related industries such as hairdressing salons or make up studios etc.

Equipment and products needed for the course are provided but it is expected that participants will have their own product range, with which to practice the skill following the course

All students will be required to give and receive a treatment, you will be taught the following;

Correct preparation of the nail and cuticle

Correct application of product

How to remove gel nails safely and effectively

Course start dates are to be confirmed from September 2024 and run in the next academic year.

Cost: £35

There are no formal entry requirements

Learners who complete this qualification may be interested in progressing to level 2 and 3 beauty therapy
