Entry Level Award in Skills for Employment, Training and Personal Development
Course Overview
The NOCN Entry Level Certificate in Skills for Employment, Training and Personal Development (Entry 3) is designed to provide an introduction to working in a variety of areas as well as more generic employability skills designed to build confidence for the workplace. The qualifications also contain units to address learners’ needs in Personal Development, Vocational Support and Literacy and Numeracy.
A variety of topics linked to employment, training and personal development such as money management, healthy living and a project based unit.
Learners will also study maths, English, personal development and preparing for work.
No entry requirements but must be aged 16-18.
The course will be assessed through a range of assessments such as posters, projects and written evidence.
There could be progression opportunities to a level 1 programme across the college.
