VTCT Skills Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy (16-18)

OVERVIEW

Following successful completion of the Level 2 in Beauty Therapy you can acquire the knowledge and skills to practise a full range of facial and body treatments.

Mandatory Units

  • UV30491 Monitor and maintain health and safety practice in the salon
  • UV30468 Client care and communication in beauty-related industries
  • UV20415 Working in beauty-related industries
  • UV30424 Provide body massage
  • UV30404 Provide body electrotherapy treatments

Optional Units

  • UV30451 Provide self tanning
  • UV30430 Apply micro dermabrasion

Studying with us means practical, hands-on workshops, group sessions, expert guest speakers, visits to local employers, wellbeing drop-ins, chill out time … the list goes on. 

As part of the course, you will also take part in an external work placement to help you develop your confidence and skills to stand out from the crowd. 

Students must have successfully completed the VRQ Level 2 in Beauty Therapy, plus a successful skills test.

Assessment covers both the practical aspects of the units and their underpinning theoretical knowledge. Candidates will be entered for: VTCT Skills Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Treatments.

Having successfully completed the course you can seek employment across a wide range of career paths including Health Farms, Hospitals, Salons, Clinics, Leisure Centres and Cruise Liners.
