We know you need to make some tough decisions over the next couple of months, and that’s why we have a series of tailored courses subject sessions running throughout the month of March so you can get a real feel for an area you’re interested in.
You may be thinking about a number of options and we would like you to explore them all. You can attend more than one session (as long as they don’t run on the same night) and experience as much as possible, so you can make the decision that’s right for you.
During each session, you will have the chance to:
- Meet our lecturers, have a chat and get to know them
- Find out all about the courses in that particular area
- Meet your potential classmates
- Hear from industry experts and special guests
- Find out about what studying with us is really like from our current students
- Discover the perks, amazing opportunities and support available to all students
- Ask any questions you may have

March On Sport and Uniformed Services – Tuesday 9th March, 6pm-7pm
Our Sport and Uniformed Services team have a wealth of knowledge across these vast industries and will be sharing their experiences, tips and career opportunities throughout this session. You will have the chance to hear from key industry experts, listen to students about their experiences on their courses and take part in a live Q&A.
March On Media and Games – Tuesday 9th March, 6pm-7pm
As one of the fastest growing industries of the 21st Century, career opportunities in the Media and Games Development sectors are continuing to increase. Our Media and Games team will be talking you through these opportunities, touching on the courses you can study, the progression routes available and offering you a live demo so you can get a feel for studying with us. You’ll also have the chance to listen to what our current students have to say and ask your own questions.
March On Performing Arts – Thursday 11th March, 6pm-7pm
Our talented and creative Performing Arts team have heaps of industry experience. During the session they will be discussing what a career in the Performing Arts industry involves and discussing the courses available. After their live demo you’ll be able to find out first-hand what our courses are like from one of our students and ask questions during the live Q&A.
March On Music – Thursday 11th March, 6pm-7pm
Not only do our music lecturers know their stuff, but they all still work in the industry with their own bands! Along with chatting about the amazing trips to Abbey Road Studios and gigging tours our students take part in every year, the team will be discussing what studying music with us is really like. From the industry standard facilities to masterclasses with musicians from around the world, you don’t want to miss this session if you want a career in music!
March On Health Care and Early Years – Tuesday 16th March, 6pm-7pm
Not only is a career in these industries fulfilling and rewarding, but the opportunities available are endless. During this session, you will have the chance to chat to leading experts in the Health Care and Early Years sectors and get a real feel for what working in the industry is really like. Our students will also be on hand to discuss their own experiences.
March On Catering – Tuesday 16th March, 6pm-7pm
Our Catering lecturer and Master Craftsman, Wayne will be chatting about his own experiences in the industry, while cooking up a storm. You will have the chance to ask any questions you may have and listen to what our students have to say about what studying catering with us is like. With a wealth of experience and the opportunity to witness Wayne at work, this session should not be missed if you want to pursue a career in the catering and hospitality industry.
March On Engineering – Thursday 18th March, 6pm-7pm
As one of the broadest industries in the UK, the career opportunities in this sector are vast. We work closely with employers to guarantee our students have the skills, expertise and experience to help them get a job once their training has finished. During this session, our expert lecturers will be talking you through our range of courses, covering electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and fabrication and welding. If a career in engineering is for you, then don’t miss this session!
March On Motor Vehicle – Thursday 18th March, 6pm-7pm
Set the wheels in motion for a career in the motor vehicle industry. Our industry expert lecturers will talk you through what a career in this long-standing industry is like and the opportunities open to qualified mechanics. You will also be able to find out first-hand what studying in our brand-new state-of-the-art garage and paint shop is like from our current students.
March On Computing – Tuesday 23rd March, 6pm-7pm
We know the importance of being at the forefront of technological and software advancements in the digital age we live in. That is why our lecturers have a wealth of knowledge in programming, software development, computer science, cyber security and computer systems to make sure our students leave us ready for this rapidly growing industry. During this session you will be able to chat to our staff, get a feel for our courses through a live demo and listen to what our students have to say about studying with us.
March On Hair, Beauty and Barbering – Tuesday 23rd March, 6pm-7pm
Our team of hairdressers, beauticians and barbers have a wealth of experience in their industries, with many of them still working with their own clientele. They have passed on their skills, expertise and knowledge to their students, making sure high standards and quality service is continued by the next generation of trained professionals. During this session, you will have the opportunity to meet the team, tune in to a live demo, listen to the experiences of our employer partners and current students and take part in a live Q&A.
March On Criminology, Forensics and Psychology – Thursday 25th March, 6pm-7pm
Solving crimes, discovering DNA and figuring out the workings of the criminal mind… how fascinating does that sound? These industries are fast becoming popular with students and it’s easy to see why, with fantastic career opportunities and exciting ‘no two days are the same’ work day. During this session our expert lecturers will delve into each subject area, taking you through what you can expert to study if you choose these subjects. You do not want to miss this!
March On Art and Design – Thursday 25th March, 6pm-7pm
Have you got a creative flare and a passion for creating beautiful pieces of work? If that’s a yes, then this session is for you! Our talented team of lecturers will discuss the vast amount of career opportunities available, spanning a range of different industries and sectors. You’ll have the chance to find out everything you need to know about studying Art and Design with us and ask any questions you may have
