South Tyneside College is also a partner in the new ‘Institute of Technology’ – planned for the North East with other key partners including Nissan, Esh Group and Newcastle

University. This partnership lets us build on our existing strong links with employers to develop educational programmes that meet their current and future needs. It also lets us close the recognised skills gap in a vital sector of the North East’s economy.
